There are records that simply refuse to age, and Coroner's "No More Color" is one of them. Released in the late eighties, this Swiss thrash-technical monster still sounds like a controlled detonation decades later. The trio of Ron Royce, Tommy T. Baron and Marquis Marky didn't just play fast — they played smart, weaving jazz-fusion precision, cold progressive structures and a razor-sharp thrash attack into something that felt genuinely alien next to most of their peers.

From the opening lunge of "Die By My Hand" to the grinding, hypnotic pulse of "Last Entertainment", the album never lets up. "Mistress Of Deception" and "Tunnel Of Pain" are the kind of tracks that make you wonder how three people could possibly sound this massive and this tight. There's a clinical, almost futuristic coldness to the riffing — think of it as thrash metal that traded the beer-soaked basement for a laboratory, yet somehow kept every ounce of its fury. The production is dry, precise and devastating, letting every off-kilter time signature and every eerie guitar line cut straight through.
