Background information about 'North Star'

Einherjer returns with crushing Nordic force on "North Star", their seventh studio offering that stands as a towering monument to Viking metal mastery. The Norwegian legends have crafted eight tracks of pure battlefield poetry, where ancient Norse mythology collides with modern metal brutality in the most spectacular fashion. From the opening salvo of "The Blood And The Iron" to the serpentine finale "Chasing The Serpent", this album delivers relentless waves of melodic black metal fury intertwined with folk elements that transport listeners straight to the frozen fjords of Scandinavia.

What sets "North Star" apart is Einherjer's ability to balance ferocious aggression with haunting melodies that echo through time like ancestral war chants. Tracks like "Stars" and "Higher Fire" showcase the band's evolved songwriting prowess, while "Listen To The Graves" demonstrates their knack for creating atmosphere that's both menacing and beautiful. The production is crisp yet maintains that raw edge essential to the genre, allowing every guitar riff to cut through like a Viking blade and every drum beat to thunder like Thor's hammer.
