There are some records that feel less like a debut and more like an excavation – a dusty relic unearthed from the basement of a forgotten era. Fäulnis' Cholerik - Eine Aufarbeitung² is exactly that. Originally recorded in the early 2000s, born out of frustration, isolation, and raw creative impulse, this is the very first manifestation of the project. What started as a rough, emotionally charged demo would ultimately lay the foundation for everything that followed.

Now, over two decades later, this formative work returns in its most complete form to date. Remastered at Temple of Disharmony – the very same studio that has worked with DARKTHRONE, POSSESSED, and SLAYER – the material has been given a new lease on life. The re-release presents the original material in a newly remastered version, expanded with bonus material that offers further insight into the early creative process behind FÄULNIS. Fresh artwork and curated liner notes by Seuche himself complete the package. This isn't just a reissue; it's a proper Aufarbeitung – a working-through of the past that brings a vital piece of underground black metal history back into the light.
