There are albums that simply demand your attention, and Naglfar's Harvest is exactly that kind of beast. Originally unleashed in 2007, this fifth full-length from the Swedish melodic black metal veterans remains a towering monument in the genre. It's the sound of a band hitting their stride with surgical precision — balancing the raw, frostbitten aggression of classic Scandinavian black metal with the kind of melodic death metal hooks that burrow deep into your skull and refuse to leave.
