Background information about 'To The North And Into Eternal Winter - Live In Darkness 1993-1995'

Holy frost and fire! This is the document that every true black metal devotee has been waiting for – Immortal's "To The North And Into Eternal Winter - Live In Darkness 1993-1995" captures the Norwegian legends during their most pivotal and ferocious years. These aren't your typical live recordings; they're raw, unfiltered snapshots from the 1993 Fuck Christ Tour and the 1995 Battle Of The Ages Tour, recorded by dedicated fans who understood that history was being made in those frozen moments.

What makes this release absolutely essential is its unapologetic authenticity. No studio polish, no digital enhancement – just Immortal in their purest, most dangerous form when black metal was still an underground revolution. Patrick W. Engel's restoration and remastering at the Temple of Disharmony has breathed new life into these tape-traded treasures while preserving their gritty essence. The 12-page booklet and double-sided A2 poster complete this monument to an era when conviction mattered more than commercial appeal.
